Hi friends! Anna here from The Victory Garden: Yarn and Curiosities-so very pleased to meet you all! I am a made-by-my-own-two-hands obsessed girl who hails from the heat and cotton fields of central California, transplanted to the cool, mossy climate of Seattle. I live in a teensy city apartment with one boyfriend, a lot of vintage Pyrex, and even more yarn.
I embarked on my blogging adventure as a way to market my fledgling craft business, but somewhere along the way blogging has turned into an inspirational haven of color, kitsch, friends, and a better understanding of myself and all of the things that really make me sing!
In developing new handmade products for my little shop, preparing for Winter craft shows, and hunting down perfect pieces of vintage Pyrex, I somehow find the time to stop and breathe for a moment: those are the times I get out my trusty camera and take colorful photographs to share with you all.
Between my blog and Etsy shop, you never know what you may find: a delicious recipe, inspirational photographs of my latest canning endeavor, vintage family photographs, snapshots and Polaroids of our latest road trip adventure, cozy and vibrant handknits, or Pyrex-inspired collections of kitschy, colorful, crocheted Granny Hoops.
Someday I will have a Victory Garden full of flowers, herbs, and
vegetables to eat; but for now I have created a Victory Garden of a
different sort, a blog full of colorful photos and a little shop full of hand knit and crocheted curiosities to brighten
your walls and warm your souls.

How does your garden grow?
