Hey everyone! Come join me over at Every Girl Like Me. I started blogging almost a year ago and still feel pretty new to the blogging world. The reason I started blogging was because I loved reading my friends blog and I saw it as a way to keep my family and friends informed on what was going on in our busy lives.
You see, I, Amanda, am a full time working momma! I have a beautiful 1 year old daughter named Brynleigh Paige and two stepsons, Ben 12 and Jake 9. We live a pretty busy, crazy life but I wouldn't change a minute of it. I work for a health insurance company and the husband, Travis, works for an auto manufacture. Both jobs require us to work most days more than the regular 8 hours. Thankfully, we found the best home daycare to watch Miss Brynleigh while we work.Most of what I blog about is what goes on in the raising of a toddler and how we have little to no idea what we are doing and flying by the seat of our pants. Travis and I had those thoughts when she was first born around 3 am of "What were we thinking?" since both of the boys were grown up enough for us not to have to adjust any bit of our lives on account of them. Things drastically changed when Brynleigh came along. The real answer to what we were thinking is that our lives were not complete. Sure we had his two sons and the dog but there was a missing link. Brynleigh has definitely made our world complete.
One of my favorite parts about blogging is it is my time to de-stress from my day. Some people blog early in the morning when they first wake up while they pray for their little ones to sleep just a few more minutes, where I blog after dinner has been cooked, cleaned, the baby has been played with, the house is somewhat picked up and usually both the baby and the hubby have already gone to bed. It's my "me" time. I have a newfound love of writing. And I love to share pictures of my kiddos.
