Silent Sunday

good morn and happy sunday friends. sometimes i just want to have a peaceful day where i hear nothing. so i'm inviting you to link a photo today. just a photo, nothing else. i've given a lot of thought about comment love day and feel that each week someone messes the entire day up when they do not follow the rules. people see a linky and skip the entire post, link up and don't bother to follow rules, so members get left out and it's just not fair. all of our hops here have no rules except that one- we like to keep it simple and fun for each participant. many members have done their part but i've noticed the majority of people leave a comment and skip the part where they are supposed to leave a comment on the person's blog before them and it just defeats the purpose. if you are only in it to gain and not give, it's pointless to offer that kind of hop. we'll see if we bring it back. in the meantime, take a moment for peace and silence. link a favorite photo that tells a thousand words without writing much of anything.

Too bad about Comment Love Sundays; seems there's always too many "Suzy's" from suzysjockstraps.com, spoilin' the fun for everyone else....

Takes only a moment to pass along some love but some people just don't take that time.

Hey Vic...how's my girl? I loved the hops on FTLOB because of your simply rule. I hated getting the "following you, follow back" blurb on my blog. It was obvious they didn't read anything I had written. So I stopped doing hops. THen you guys created FTLOB and I LOVED it. People who genuinely wanted to read what I wrote were stopping by...it was wonderful. But, since FTLOB has grown exponentially, I'm getting some of those canned blurbs again...and it's just a little frustrating. So I understand why you are saying something about it and ceasing (for awhile, anyway) the comment luv. I want followers who READ my post, and make genuine COMMENTS. I want active followers. I want to feel heard. And the majority of the FTLOB followers are those followers that I seek...so I hope we get our train back on the right tracks.
