Hello my pretties, fellow bloggers, crafters and creative nuts!  My name is Kim or K. Marie as many might know me in the blogging world and this is me...

I have 2 blogs that I work on most every day.  The first, and my "original" blog is:


The last several years, for me, haven't been the easiest.  I've had to leave one long time career and begin a very new one, I've loved and lost some very special people in my life and I've overcome some pretty difficult physical limitations due to a devastating car accident (I'm lucky to be walking) to name a few.  But sometimes when life seems to get really bad, the sunshine comes out and I realize that if I just stop to exhale, I can smell the roses once again.
This blog is my therapy without having to pay out of pocket for it.  This blog is about me and my life; complicated, raw and uncensored with all the craziness to go along with it.  It truly is a rollercoaster; sometimes the screams are because it's exciting and sometimes because it hurts.  But all in all...life is a learning experience and I'm learning every day.
When I need time away from the drama, I write, cook, make jewelry and dabble in photography.  But my biggest passion out of all my "hobbies" would be cooking (and sometimes baking)...that is where the next blog comes in:


I love to share recipes and tell about my latest weekend adventures in cooking or baking.  I love to create and I love to use my hands and get dirty.  It's not every day we get to feel like kids again!  Very soon I will be starting my new adventure in Culinary Arts School.  I'm so excited and can't wait to write all about it in both my blogs and share all the flops and follies as well as my triumphs along the way!

But enough about my blogs...a little about me!

But when she's relaxing on the couch at home watching something on the tube or writing to ease her troubled mind, she's surrounded by all her pets, just her "other" children in her mind...

...and when she's not watching it on the T.V., she enjoys watching her favorite sports team (Let's Go Hawks!) in action...in person (not always with Pat Sajak of course)...
